Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE HARRISON/YEE (nee BOYSON) Age 90, died peacefully at home on May 16, 2000. Predeceased by her husbands, Charles W. Yee and Paul Harrison. Loving daughter of the late Dokia and George Boyson. Most loving mother of Margaret Eleanor Wong, William R. Yee, Dr. George Yee and the late Jimmy Yee. Dear mother-in-law to Dr. Horne Wong, Lise Yee and Fay Yee. Dearest Baba to Sharla Wong and husband Dorion, Melanie Lee and husband Bob, Dr. Vanessa Wong, Paulinka Rumfeldt and husband Robert, Nadia Yee and husband Dane Clatney, Leslie Yee and husband Kevin Ryan, Dr. Lauren Yee and husband Dr. Jerry Tan, Jennifer Yee and husband Dr. Albert Schumacher and Dr. Charles Yee. Dearest great-grandmother to Jessica, Connor, Alana, Camille, Bridget, Victoria, Westley and Charlotte. Dear sister to Mary Hlady, Anne Didyk, Minnie Owen and the late Bill Boyson and Jack Boyson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pauline will be sadly missed by her dear cousins and numerous friends. Pauline immigrated to Canada from the Ukraine at the age of four and up to the age of 13 worked on the farm in Sifton, Manitoba until the death of her mother. Despite her young age and lack of education she assumed the role of surrogate mother to her four younger siblings. She would be proud to know that all her brothers and sisters pursued successful careers. Despite her limited education, she had a thirst for learning and encouraged her three children to pursue higher education and inspired the succeeding generations in pursuit of excellence and dedication to the community. In spite of the hardships of the depression, early widowhood, and financial difficulty, she became a matriarch of a successful and loving family. She will be deeply missed. In kindness, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Visiting on Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 20, at 9:30 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd. E., Tecumseh, ON (519-735-2830) to St. Anne Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Parish prayers Friday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m.
