Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY MAY CAROLINE BUSCH (nee WARREN) On May 10, 2000, peacefully, after a brief illness, Shirley May Caroline Busch passed on at Trillium Lodge in Parksville, B.C. She is survived by her loving husband Harvey; daughters, Theresa Louise of Winnipeg, MB. and Cheryl Delane. Shirley was predeceased by her father John Warren and mother Mary (nee Jolly) Warren, both of Winnipeg, MB. She also leaves to mourn her devoted brother Ken Warren and wife Joan of Calgary, AB. Brother John Warren and wife Judy of P.E.I.; sister Olive and husband James Fergusson of Winnipeg, MB. Shirley will be very sadly missed by her brother-in-law Don Busch and wife Bonnie Windsor of Coombs, B.C. Shortly after retiring, Shirley and Harvey left Winnipeg in 1994 to settle in beautiful Parksville. Her many friends in Parksville will miss her, and she will be missed by the caring and compassionate staff at Trillium Lodge. Shirley was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. She worked for the City of Winnipeg from 1971 up until the fall of 1990, retiring from the Accounting Department. She loved music, especially classical and opera, and enjoyed books including interests in physics and science fiction. She was also an avid swimmer for many years. Shirley enjoyed meeting people and had a natural and genuine bond with everyone she met. Harvey and his daughters wish to thank the family members and friends who made this time easier by extending their love, care and concern. Cremation took place in Parksville without service, carried out by Yates Funeral Service & Crematorium.(1-877-264-3848). Donations may be made in Shirleys name to the charity of ones choice.
