WILLIAM (BILL) HILHORST William (Bill) Hilhorst peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2000 at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Treherne, Manitoba at the age of 87 years, beloved husband of Laurette Hilhorst (nee Doyon). Bill leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his loving memory besides his loving wife Laurette, five children, Rita and husband Elmer Hellegards, Denis Hilhorst, Josie and husband Ron Hird, Michael and wife Joanne Hilhorst, and Pat and husband Ken Van De Kerckhove, and numerous other family and friends. Prayers will be said from the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, MB, on Friday, May 19 at 8:30 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. John Te Nguyen from the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, MB on Saturday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the St. John Berchmans Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Bills memory to the Canadian National Institute of the Blind, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3G 3M3, or to the Tiger Hills Palliative Care Unit, Treherne, Manitoba, R0G 2V0.
