Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAISY BELLA LINTICK (nee HYATT) Peacefully on May 21, 2000 Daisy passed away at the Beacon Hill Lodge at the age of 88 years. Daisy was born on July 20, 1911 in Cornwallis, MB and there she spent her younger years until her marriage to John when she moved to Dauphin and finally to Winnipeg. Daisy was predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Mary (Payne) Hyatt; and her husband John. She is survived by her sons, Roxie (Roy) Everett and George Edgar and his wife Grace; as well as numerous relatives in Dauphin and Western Canada. Daisy was a longtime member of Monte Cassino Legion No.178 and has earned many citations for volunteer service and leadership. She was an avid dog lover as well as an avid gardener. She took great pleasure in growing a variety of prize winning gladioluses. She resided at Lions Manor (Sherbrook) and for the last few years at Beacon Hill Lodge (Fort). Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. Dr. Bruce Bailey (traditional minister) of Knox United Church officiating. Interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in the Garden of the Apostles following the service. The Lintick family would like to thank the nursing staff and unit assistants on the 4th floor at Beacon Hill Lodge for their kind care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Daisy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
