Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) McDONALD Early in the morning of Monday, May 22, 2000 after a long and courageous battle with emphysema, Betty passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre. Her devoted husband Charles and her beautiful daughter Laurie predeceased Betty. She is survived by her loving family, son Murray and daughter-in-Rose and granddaughter Jennifer, son Perry and daughter-in-law Bonnie and grandchildren, Garreth, Laurel, Grant and Kristen, daughter Donna and son-in-law Brian Jones and grandchildren, Amanda and Jessica, as well as special family friends, Paul and Jeannine Thibodeau and their children, Jeremy, Rachelle and husband Elliot, and Charles. her brother Jack Thompson and Ida from Regina also survive Betty. Betty was a loving and caring wife, mother and daugher that took great interest in and care of her family. She was very proud of all of her grandchildren. Mom loved her house on Weaver Bay and missed her many great friends and neighbours. Her family would like to thank the many special care givers at The River Health Centre and the Deer Lodge Centre for all of their great and innumerable acts of kindness. A remembrance and celebration of Bettys life will be held at the home of Donna and Brian Jones on Friday, May 26 at 3:00 p.m.
