Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES SUSIE LEMKY After a brief illness, on Sunday, May 21, 2000, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Frances Susie Lemky passed away at the age of 63 years. She was born on Aug. 31, 1936, in Saskatoon, SK. Her life was devoted to raising her children, and later she worked for Care Services, in a sewing factory, cleaning homes and offices, and 15 years working as a printing press operator/print shop worker at Van Stelten Printing. Frances was predeceased by her mother Susie Klassen in 1997, father David Klassen in 1971, brother Wilfred in 1989 and son-in-law Roger Cormier in 1991. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mom enjoyed reading, sewing, tending her many plants, cooking and baking for her family. She showed grace, kindness and thoughtfulness to all who knew her. Always giving to others (especially her children) and doing without things for herself. Truly a loving, unselfish, sacrificing and suffering mother. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Laura (John) van Stelten, granddaughter Carolyn; daughter Linda Cormier, grandsons, Rene and Matthew; son David; son Ernie (Lucy) son Wilfred (Verna), grandson Vernon; daughter Janet (Ron) Nowakowski, grandchildren, Andrew, Kayla and Adam; sister Mae; brothers, Don, Ben, Raymond; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 26, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Pastor Ray Palmer officiating. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff on the 5th floor, Units 1 and 3, Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and support. Also, grateful thanks to Dr. Harold Nyhof for his concern and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Francess memory to the Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. Her favourite scripture was that of her parents, Psalm 23: A Mothers love is a map for living, for making the right turns, avoiding the rough roads, and arriving safely wherever you go.
