Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE COLTON (nee WACKO) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness on May 22, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre, Pauline Colton left us at the age of 74 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 50 years Ignace; her son Philip; daughter-in-law Suzanne; grandsons, Chris and Neil; brothers, John, Ray and Paul; sisters, Olga, Jessie, Helen, Jennifer, Irene; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Gregory; brother Peter; and sisters, Mary, Annie, and Rosie. Pauline was born May 7, 1926 in Hazelridge, MB. She later moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Ignace. She was a strong-willed individual and tireless worker, mixed with a heart of gold. Her personality and sense of humour infected all who came in contact with her. Her moral values, sense of fairness, and strength of character were the measuring stick her family tried to live up to. She may not be with us any longer, but she will never be forgotten, We miss you, Rest in Peace. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Prayers will be said on Thursday, May 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
