ANITA IVY LALLY (DUNHAM) It is with great sorrow that we mourn the loss of Anita Lally who passed away on May 23, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Lally (1979) her grandson John Van Wyk (1978) her parents, Styles and Sarah Dunham and her sister Sarah Snodgrass (1998). Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Jacqueline and husband Lucas Van Wyk; grandsons, David, Robert; granddaughter Erika; great-grandchildren, Kirk, Craig and Coralie; a sister-in-law Betty Lally, many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her special friend Joe Lamirande. Anita was born in St. John, N.B. on January 30, 1923. She came to Winnipeg in 1946 and met Jack Lally. Mom was a warm and loving person who cared for her family and deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom was a hard worker and loved helping people. Anita was an active member of the St. Vital Legion No. 16 and the 65 Club. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 29 at St. Emile Parish, 556 St. Annes Rd. Interment will follow at the St. Vital Catholic Cemetery.
