Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID WALTER DUDAR DECEMBER 3, 1962 - MAY 23, 2000 In the early morning of Tuesday, May 23, 2000, after a courageous battle with cancer, David passed away peacefully at Dauphin General Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was 37 years of age. David leaves to celebrate his life father Walter Dudar; mother Lillian Dudar; brother Michael (Dana) Dudar; sister Maria (Ross) Spratt, and Mr. Bentley, his beloved cat. David's life will be treasured by his cherished Baba Nadurak; his aunts; uncles; cousins; and dear friends who all provided support whether it was with words, thoughts, or deeds. Anything that was needed, from transportation to his many appointments, to his favourite foods and clothes, was gladly given and always with a smile. David was born in Winnipeg, MB and soon after moved to Thompson, MB with his family where he was raised. David attended R.D. Parker Collegiate and went on to attain his Journeyman Industrial Electrician Ticket from Red River Community College. He was last employed by Simplot Canada in Brandon. David was most happy spending his summers riding his Harley on the open road. He enjoyed his classic rock music, classic car, and gave new meaning to "Born To Be Wild". He supported parts stores with his hobbies, and is the only person we knew who could publish his own parts catalogue. He always looked forward to fishing excursions with his special friend Barry. David was never one to miss out on an opportunity to be with his family and friends whether it be a special family occasion, holidays, or just for a BBQ party. He was always ready to help out a friend in need, flashing his charming grin all the while. David spent his last days exactly where he wanted to be. He was out in the country in a small town, helping out on the Dudar ranch with the cattle, and leading a peaceful existence far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley Street, Winnipeg, MB. Interment to follow at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Cancercare Manitoba Foundation, and the wonderful caring nurses at Dauphin General Hospital, all whose care made the troublesome times much easier. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, Suite 201, 111 Waterloo St., London, Ontario, N6B 2M4. Dave was a wonderful childhood friend of mine I clearly remember us driving around reciting Doug an d bob Mckenzie lines, and the time he loaned me some giant speakers he had built himself. Truly a nice guy, and I think of him often. Thanks for the laughs Dave. Was just thinking about Thompson, and you came to mind. You are missed, and the world is a lonelier place without you! - Posted by: Ian Shanley (Friend) on: Apr 08, 2017
