Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDEREK BLAINE BOULANGER Accidentally, on December 4, 1999 at Berens River, Derek Blaine Boulanger passed away at the age of 24 years. Derek was born in Winnipeg on July 19, 1975 and had spent most of his life here. Derek was raised by his grandmother Florence, and by his aunts and uncles. Derek leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his wife Blair and son Tyson, and another son Eric from Lisa; his mother Bernice; father John and his two brothers, Johnny and Wendell. Derek also leaves to cherish two stepsisters and three stepbrothers. Also, grandmother Florence, and great-grandmother Virginia. There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He was predeceased by his sisters, Margaret and Marcie-Lynn; his grandfather Wilson; his great-grandfathers, Tom and John James and by his great-grandmother Alice. Prayers were held, Wednesday, May 24, at 10:00 a.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, Winnipeg. Wake services were held on Wednesday, May 24, at Berens River United Church, Berens River, MB. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m., also at the church, with Rev. Oliver Everette officiating. Interment to follow at the Berens River Cemetery.
