ADAM BARYLUK Peacefully with his family by his side, Adam Baryluk passed away on May 24, 2000 at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 79 years. Adam was born May 21, 1921 in Brandon, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Dmytro Baryluk, Paraskevia Mychayluk; and brother Mike Baryluk. Adam joined the army at the age of 20 years and served overseas as a gunner with the RCA (Royal Canadian Artillery). He returned after the Second World War and married Mary on August 13, 1946 in Brandon. After their marriage, Adam worked as a tailor until 1981. At that time joined the Corps of Commissionaires, until retiring in 1986. Left to cherish Adams memory are his loving wife Mary of 53 years, daughter Linda (Horst), brother John (Ann), brother Bill, and sister Mary. Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, May 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave., with Rev. Aubrey Hemminger officiating. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and kindness to all the nurses and staff on T5 at Deer Lodge Centre for their wonderful care and compassion. A special thank you to Gerry who treated Adam like his uncle.
