Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE IRENE WATTS Suddenly on Sunday, May 21, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Alice Irene Watts, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 93 years. Alice was born February 8, 1907 in Treherne, Man. Alice was predeceased by her husband Lancelot (Buster) Hockin in January 1977, as well as one sister Emma; three brothers, Ted, Art and Frank and nephew Art Thompson. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Don (Joyce), Errick, Brian (Bev) her daughter Bernice (Charlie) and daughter-in-law Beryl along with grandchildren, Kipp (Maren), Miles, Errick (Marion), Glen (Eda), Charles Jr., Lisa (Roger), Cory (Joy) great-grandchildren, Chad, Kyle, Stephanie, Madison, Zachary, Miranda, Jordan and great great-grandchild Jaren. During her lifetime Alice lived in Treherne, Rathwell, Argyle, West Kildonan and Middlechurch. Alice was a devout Anglican throughout her life, believing in Christ and knowing she was going home to be with Him. Alice was hardworking, always putting others before herself. She will be remembered for her sense of humour, her card playing, doing the crossword and most importantly, her love of her family. Alice will be greatly missed by all who knew her including her friends from Bleak House, St. Pauls Anglican Church, Carriage House North and Lions Manor. Thanks to both the staff at the Middlechurch Home and the Seven Oaks Hospital for their caring ways. Cremation has taken place. Due to out of town family travelling to the funeral, it will be held on Monday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Pauls Church on Balderstone Road in Middlechurch with private interment following at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the Glen Eden Reception Centre, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Pauls Anglican Church, West St. Paul.
