Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BESSIE) CHRISTINA BROWNLEE On Thursday, May 25, 2000 Elizabeth Brownlee passed away at her residence at the age of 86 years. Bessie was the daughter of the late Edith and Gavin Brownlee and sister of Robert Brownlee. She was born in 1914 in Assiniboia and resided there until 1955 when, with her parents, she moved to Charleswood. She attended Little Mountain School, which was in Rosser, and friendships formed in those years have been maintained and cherished over the years. She also had friends in the Lillyfield district that meant much to her. She was employed by the T. Eaton Company and the Canadian Association for the Mentally Retarded, retiring from the latter in 1979. Surviving her are Jack and Audrey Hinchey, Lynda Hinchey and their respective families, as well as other relatives locally, across Canada, Great Britain and Australia and her wonderful next door neighbours the Millers and the Sawatzkys. Bessie lived her long life within a large circle of friends, each one of whom she cherished. She was a loyal visitor of the sick and faithful correspondent of those far away. She was a well-respected neighbour and friend. Funeral service will be held in Westwood Presbyterian Church, Westwood Dr. and Browning, at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
