GEORGE A. SARTIN Peacefully died on May 26, 2000 at Middlechurch Home at the age of 85 years. He is survived by brother Alex, sister-in-law Bernice, nieces, Elaine and Grace and their families. George was born October 31, 1914. He attended Prince Edward and Lord Wolseley Schools. He worked in Ottawa during the war years. For about 20 years, he was employed at the Seymour Hotel as desk clerk. George was a member of Gordon King Memorial United Church and served for some years as Sexton of the church. Special thanks to the caring staff at Middlechurch Home. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Middlechurch Home, 280 Balderstone Avenue. Private family interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery prior to the service. Donations may be made toward the maintenance of the Garden Court at Middlechurch Home. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
