MARY MUZYKA Peacefully after a lengthy illness, Mrs. Mary Muzyka of the Vita Personal Care Home, formerly of Sundown, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2000 at the Vita Hospital, at the age of 81 years. She leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Matt and Ida of Grimsby, ON, Nick and Jean of Dugald, MB, Mike of Winnipeg, John and Caren of Calgary, AB; two daughters, Katherine and Ed Daly of Regina, Jean and Mark Ancel of Winnipeg; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a very special friend Lillian; three sisters, Ann Sokoliuk of Sundown, Olga Rozwood of Winnipeg, Margaret Olynyk of Winnipeg; four brothers, Mike of Winnipeg, Nick of Sundown, Bill of Kenora, ON, Paul of Lac du Bonnet. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1986; her parents, Dmytro and Katherine Kraynyk; one son Bill in infancy and one brother John. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Church in Sundown with Rev. Fr. Ihor Royik officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Prayers were said on Friday, May 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Pallbearers for the service will be her grandsons and granddaughters. Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach; 204-326-1351.
