EILEEN JOSEPHINE MILLER (nee WEST) Peacefully, on May 23, 2000 Eileen Josephine Miller passed away at Charleswood Care Centre at the age of 84 years. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her brother Ray (Dorothy) West of Aldergrove, BC, sisters-in-law, Florence, Isabel, Hilda, Joey, Florence Barber, Mabel Dunn and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents William and Rachel West; brothers Austin, Clarence, Everett and Allan and sisters Mary McCrorie and Wilma (in infancy). Eileen was born and raised in St. James. She was employed at Eatons for a number of years. Eileen and Bill enjoyed their many years together. Eileen was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in 1992. The family would like to thank the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for her loving care over the past eight years. Rest in peace Eileen. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Avenue. Interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileens memory to McCrorie-West Family Scholarship Fund for Alzheimer Research, Dept. of Private Funding, The University of Manitoba, Wpg.
