JOSEPHINE LEGAL Josephine Legal est decedee le samedi 27 mai 2000 a la Villa Youville de Sainte-Anne-des-Chenes a lage de 87 ans. Elle rejoint les nombreux membres de sa famille qui lont precedee: ses parents, Auguste Legal et Hermance Baron; ses freres et soeurs, Augustine (Rocan), Henri, Gabriel, Lucie (Desrosiers), Raoul, Marcel, Genevieve (Rowan), Adrienne (Palletier), Eugene, Soeur Therese, sgm, et Albert; ses beaux-freres and belles-soeurs, Engelbert Rocan, Nadia Gauthier, Sauveur Desrosiers, Josephine Belisle, Alexandre Rowan, Hormidas Pelletier et Alphonse Pelletier. Elle laisse dans le deuil un frere Lucien et son epouse Irene, une soeur Jeanne Pelletier ainsi que ses belles-soeurs Marie-Anne, Anna, Simone, Louise et Irene. Celibataire toute sa vie, Josephine navait pas denfants, mais ses 83 neveux et nieces laffectionnaient comme une mere. La famille tient a exprimer sa reconnaissance au personnel de la Villa Youville et du Centre Medical Seine pour la qualite des soins offerts et pour lattention et lamitie prodigues a son endroit pendant son long sejour a la Villa et surtout durant ses dernieres annees. La ceremonie des funerailles aura lieu en leglise de Sainte-Anne-Des-Chenes, le mercredi 31 mai a 19h00. La depouille sera exposee a compter le 18h30. Les dons en sa memoire peuvent etre faits a la Villa Youville Inc., 208, avenue Centrale, Sainte-Anne (Manitoba) R5H 1C9 pour appuyer linitiative des neveux et nieces qui prelevent presentement le 25 000 $ requis pour faire designer lAILE JOSEPHINE-LEGAL dans le nouveau pavillon dont la construction debutera des cet automne. She joins the numerous members of her family who predeceased her: her parents, Auguste Legal and Hermance Baron; her brothers and sisters, Augustine (Rocan), Henri, Gabriel, Lucie (Desrosiers), Raoul, Marcel, Genevieve (Rowan), Adrienne (Pelletier), Eugene, Soeur Therese, sgm, and Albert; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Engelbert Rocan, Nadia Gauthier, Sauveur Desrosiers, Josephine Belisle, Alexandre Rowan, Hormidas Pelletier and Alphonse Pelletier. She leaves to cherish her memory, one brother Lucien and his wife Irene, one sister Jeanne Pelletier and her sisters-in-law, Marie-Anne, Anna, Simone, Louise and Irene. Josephine never had children of her own but her 83 nephews and nieces loved her very much. The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff of the Villa Youville and of the Seine Medical Centre for the quality of their services and the tender loving care dispensed to our dear sister/sister-in-law/aunt. Funeral services will be held at the Ste. Anne church on Wednesday, May 31 at 7:00 p.m. with viewing at 6:30 p.m. Those wishing to do so may make donations in Josephines memory to the Villa Youville Inc., 208 Centrale Avenue, Ste. Anne (Manitoba) R5H 1C9 in support of the initiative of her nephews and nieces who are presently raining funds to meet a $25,000 target required to have a wing of the new pavilion designated to bear her name.
