Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET GUNN ADAMS (Sinclair) Peacefully on May 24, 2000, at The Lodge at Broadmead, Victoria, B.C. Margaret was born on February 26, 1905 in London, England and moved with her family to the Interlake Region of Manitoba in 1907. At the age of 14, she moved to Winnipeg to find work, where she later met and married her beloved Robert (Bob) I. Adams. They moved to Toronto in 1942 where they established a home that was always graciously open to family and friends. Margaret moved back to Manitoba in 1977 to live near her sister Mary in Transcona. In 1984, when Mary died, Margaret relocated in Victoria, B.C. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Bob (1957), her parents, George Alexander and Ada Sinclair, brothers David, Ernie, Peter, Donald, and Jim, and sisters Grace Sinclair and Mary Paulley. She is survived by her sister-in-law Verna Sinclair of Winnipeg and many loving nieces and nephews. Her nieces Diane Bate and Lynda Paulley of Victoria are grateful to the staff at The Lodge at Broadmead for the exceptional care given to their wonderful Aunt Margaret. A memorial service will be conducted by Archdeacon J. Russell Brown in the Oak Room at The Lodge at Broadmead on Friday, June 2 at 12:00 noon. Margarets ashes will be interred in Toronto this September. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
