CARL JOSEPH STANWICK His lifes journey began on January 6, 1925 in Winnipeg and ended in eternal rest, at home, with family by his side, on May 28, 2000 in Victoria, B.C. Blessed with good health until 1991 (prostate cancer), Carl enjoyed the company of his devoted Wife Carol; children; grandchildren; family and close friends. An avid reader, gardener and fisherman, he took an early retirement in 1982 after a 30 year career (Telephone Engineer) with AEI Telecommunications. His passion for repair and renovation kept him busy from one project to the next as he applied his many self taught trade abilities to perfection. His presence and unique sense of humour will be deeply and sorrowfully missed by his loving Wife Carol; sons, Dr. Richard (Nancy) and Greg (Gloria) daughter Centhia (Tony) grandchildren, Robyn and Roslyn, Clinton (Donna), Kurtis (Lisa), Candace and Glen; great-grandchild (fellow Capricorn and Mr. Bean watcher) Jamie; family and friends. Cremation in Victoria, B.C. In lieu of flowers a donation to support the work of the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. A celebration in honour of Carls life will be held in Winnipeg on July 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Selkirk Legion Hall in Selkirk, MB.
