DOUG HARRINGTON Longtime resident of The Pas, Doug Harrington passed away suddenly, Friday, May 26, 2000 at Leaf Rapids, MB, age 64 years. Doug was born Monday, October 7, 1935 in Ontario, moving west to Manitoba where he was employed as a meteorologist at The Pas Airport for many years. Prayers and visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home, with James Hemauer presiding and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch, The Pas, giving the tribute. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Poppy Fund in care of the Royal Canadian Legion, Box 478, The Pas, MB R9A 1K6 or to The Pas Health Complex Foundation, Box 240, The Pas, MB R9A 1K4.
