JOSEPH MAURICE (MOE) REDMOND Joseph Maurice (Moe) Redmond passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer May 29, 2000. Loving father of Shannon of Sidney, B.C., Jason and Maureen of Winnipeg; loving son of Joe and Alida Redmond of Lindsay, Ont.; dear brother of Anne, Mike (Heather), Linda (Dennis), David (Donna) of Lindsay, Ont.; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Robert, Garry and Ron. He will be sadly missed by his adopted family Lorne and Gladys Sorenson and family of Marquette, Man.; also many friends. Moe spent 21 years in the military as a peace keeper travelling to Egypt, Cypress, other European countries, as well as being stationed in Edmonton, AB, Kingston, Ont.; Shilo and Winnipeg, MB. He later served as a security guard. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Stonewall Hospital Foundation, Stonewall, MB. At Moes request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
