MARGARET BETTY HINDS (SMITH-BRADLEY) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Margaret (Betty) Hinds, age 77 years, passed away at the Concordia Place Care Centre on May 29, 2000. Margaret is survived by her husband Stewart; sons, Barry Bradley (Cheryl), Daryl, also known as Clarke Bradley (Loretta) grandsons, Douglas Bradley & Corey Bradley (Kim) step daughters, Susan MacDonald (John), Laurie Pierce (Jim), Kris Springer (Rick) step grandchildren, Michael and Holly Deagnon and two great-step grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Morgan and Georgia Robinson; stepsister Doris Creaser (Ken) and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Smith; first husband Eldon Bradley and step mother Isabella Smith. Margaret was born in Hamiota, MB. She married her first husband Eldon Bradley and they resided in Langruth and Plumas communities. In these communities she operated restaurants, was a switchboard operator for MTS and hairdresser. Margaret moved to Winnipeg in the early 70s and worked as a hairdresser, motel manager and at Wilsons Auto Electric until her retirement in 1981. Margaret re-married on October 3, 1981 to Stewart Hinds. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Concordia Place Care Centre, second floor, for their compassion and care. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue.
