Margaret Borthistles long and valiant struggle with cancer ended peacefully Monday, May 29, 2000 at 2:00 a.m. as she passed away in her sleep surrounded by family members in her home in Phoenix, Arizona. The family rejoices that Margaret now enjoys perfect peace and rest in the arms of her Lord, Saviour and Friend. Margaret was loved and respected by many, and was continually encouraged by their support as she fought courageously against cancer. Margarets faith, love, determination and ever-present optimism are part of the legacy she leaves that will live on in our hearts. Her extraordinary husband Barry; sister Pat; her children and their spouses, Glenn and Judy, Garth and Barb, Jodi and Peter; along with her nine (soon to be ten) grandchildren, invite you to share a celebration of her life at a memorial service on Thursday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. in Vancouver, BC: Christian Life Assembly 21277 56th Ave. Langley, BC.
