ALBERT YAEGER Peacefully on May 29, 2000, at Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his family, after a struggle with heart disease, Albert passed away at age 80. Born January 1, 1920, in Poland, he immigrated to Canada in 1929. He worked as a carman for 35 years with the C.N.R. and retired in 1984. Albert leaves to mourn his loving wife of 50 years, Edna; three children, Beverly (Rob), Linda (Hal), Dennis (Lasha) eight grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Corey, Lisa, Kyla, Breanna, Eric and Emily; two brothers from British Columbia, Len (Julie) and Herb. He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends, especially those in Apache Junction, Arizona. Throughout his life Albert was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to take his family camping, fishing and hunting. Following his retirement, he and Edna enjoyed their years travelling in their motor home. The winters in Arizona and the summers in Pinawa were the highlights. He was a member of several Masonic Lodges, the Shriners and the Ruff Riders Unit. Alberts family deeply appreciates the care, support and kindness provided by the staff of D5 at Health Sciences Centre, Pastor Chell and the many family and friends. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Chris, Jeff and Corey and his nephews, Darren, Brian and Bruce.
