IWONA WOJCIECHOWSKA- KAPELUCH May 1, 1957 - May 30, 2000 Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 30, 2000, Iwona beloved wife of Bogdan, and mother of Anna and Michael, passed away at the Riverview Health Centre, age 43 years. Iwona was born in Poznan, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1993. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Bogdan, and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Anna (fiance Jeremy) and Michael; father Mieczyslaw of Poland; brothers, Jurek, Mieczyslaw and Roman Kandulski of Poland; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Katarzyna and Adrzeg Kapaluch; sister-in-law Helena Zmuda; brother-in-law Michael Kapaluch, wife Bozena; numerous other relatives and friends in Poland and Canada. She was predeceased by her mother Maria Kandulska-Hellwig. Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1000 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 2 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. An Oblate Father presiding. Cremation to follow. Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery at 2:30 p.m., Friday, June 2. Iwonas family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a Trust Fund set up at Carpathia Credit Union for her son Michaels schooling.
