Dearly beloved wife of Robert (Bob), Terry (nee Sturgeon) was the loving mother of Wayne (wife Lois) of Winnipeg, Man., Victoria (husband Pat Dayman) of Surrey, B.C. and Melody Andres of Comox, B.C. She was predeceased by her youngest son Robert Frederick (Bob) late of Hamilton, Ont., her father Lloyd Sturgeon late of Winnipeg and her sister Norma (Mrs. W. Disson) late of El Toro, California. Loving step-daughter of Matilda Sturgeon of Winnipeg. Loving grandmother of Joanne (Mrs. W. Oliver) of Warrenton, Man., Pat J. and Kelly Dayman of Fort Langley, B.C., Amy and Megan Andres of Comox, and Riley Cash of Winnipeg. Loving great-grandmother of Sean, Mathew and Rachelle Oliver of Warrenton. Dear sister of Lloyd Sturgeon (wife Claire) of Errington, B.C. and Rosemary of California. Terry was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 58 in Hamilton, Ont., and had been both an Associate Member and Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Branch 17 in Courtenay. Terry, born in Winnipeg, had lived in Winnipeg, Greenwood, N.S., Summerside, P.E.I., Hamilton, Ont., Comox, and finally Courtenay. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon from the CHAPEL of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN RD., COURTENAY, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with the Rev. Ray Brandon officiating, followed by interment at Courtenay Civic Cemetery and fellowship and refreshments in "The Garden Room" of the funeral home.
