Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBONNIE JEANNE COURCHENE "Golden Eagle Woman" Peacefully, on Wednesday May 31, 2000, Bonnie Courchene, aged 33 years, beloved wife of Eugene LaForte, passed away at her residence in Fort Alexander, Man. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Eugene, her daughter Sadye; her mother Beverley Courchene; her father Langford (Boyshum) Guimond and Karen; her sisters Marni and Nadia; her nephews, Morley, Ramsey and Jonathon; her sisters and brothers, Annie, Shelly (Bopper), Lyle (Beaner), Lionel (Duke), Candace and their families. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Martina and her grandfather Walter Courchene; her paternal grandmother Wabass Guimond; her grandfather George Guimond, her aunt Patsy; her nephew Gregory; her uncle Sheldon; her cousin Melvin and many great uncles and aunts. Bonnie touched a lot of hearts and will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives. "MEEGWETCH" Wake Service will be held at the home of Beverley Courchene, Townsite #36 in Fort Alexander. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday June 3 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church in Fort Alexander with Fr. F. Paradis, the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Langford (Boyshum) Uncle Abel and her special godchild Little Clem. Active pallbearers will be Pernall, Timothy, Corey, Lionel, Jessie and Wayne.
