CARL ELMER SUNDMARK Peacefully, with his son by his side, Carl Sundmark, at the age of 86 years, passed away on May 29, 2000, at the Victoria Hospital following a brief illness. Carl was born January 27, 1914 on the family homestead in the Hilltop district of Manitoba. Carl retired as a Lieutenant from the City of Winnipeg Fire Department after many years of service. He was living at home with his wife until his recent illness. Carl will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Edna; his son Ross; grandchildren, Hayden, Adam, Taylor and Colton, of Winnipeg; and his brother Alf; and sisters, Alice Toews and Doris Carlson of Kenora, ON. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Garry Memorial Park, Monday, June 5 at 2:30 p.m. with Ted Hull, Director of Counselling Ministry of Grant Memorial Church presiding.
