HELEN NEUFELD On May 31, 2000, Helen Neufeld passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Luise Neufeld; niece Marlise (Paul) Forsyth; nephews Peter (Judi) Neufeld and Victor (Karen) Neufeld. She enjoyed many years as a great aunt to Lisa, Blake, Mark, Kelli and Eric. She was also appreciative of all the love and support of all her remaining close relatives and friends. Helen was predeceased by her father Peter Neufeld, her mother Maria Neufeld and brother Peter Neufeld. Helen was born in 1925 in the Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1949. She was employed for over 30 years at Canada Safeway prior to her retirement. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame at Alverstone, with viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, R3T 5K9, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
