JOYCE WILK (nee LaVALLEE) Suddenly, on June 1, 2000, Joyce Wilk, age 50 years, beloved wife of Edward Wilk, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Joyce was born in Winnipeg, December 26, 1949. She was employed at the Royal Bank for most of her working career. Joyce and Ed enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Grand Marais. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ed; mother Minnie LaVallee; brother Don and wife Sharon; sister Doreen Sidorchuk and husband Richard; mother-in-law Mary Wilk , sister-in-law Christine (Ed) and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends at the Royal Bank and at Grand Marais. She was predeceased by her father Joseph in 1979 and father-in-law Frank Wilk in 1978. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyces memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Wpg., R3C 9Z9. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue.
