MARJORIE McCROARY On Thursday, May 18, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital, with family members by her side, Marjorie McCroary slipped into eternal rest at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Edward "Irish" in 1985; her daughter Elaine Fenn in 1998. Marge leaves to mourn her loss sisters, Hazel Cosens, Pearl McIntyre of Winnipeg, Edna Tarrent of Gunton, Man.; brothers, Stan Lee of Gunton, George (Julia) Lee of Stony Mountain. Grandsons, Anthony (Abigail) of Ottawa and James Finn of Montreal and great-grandson Alexander of Ottawa; sister-in-law Myrtle Lee of Winnipeg, several nieces and nephews. At the time of her passing, Marge was a member of Fort Garry United Church, Golden Rule Seniors and Rose Devon Lodge serving as Grand Mistress of Manitoba in 1991 and 1992. Family would like to thank Debbie and Joanne and other staff at Unit 5 at the Victoria Hospital for the support and special care to help Marge in her final and most difficult days. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on June 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Garry United Church, 800 Point Rd. with Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Society, 102 - 310 Broadway, R3C 0S6 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., R3B 2H8, or a charity of their choice.
