WINNIFRED (WINNIE) JOSEPHINE LOZENSKI (nee HLADKI) November 4, 1929 - May 31, 2000 Suddenly, following a brief illness at Concordia Hospital. Predeceased by husband Carl Lozenski, Winnie will be sadly missed by her three sons, Terry (Corinne), Daryl (Julie) and Greg (Trena). Grandchildren, Trina, Cara, Jasmine and Tyler; Aunt Lena Hawrych; sister-in-law Carolyn Lozenski; nephew Randy Lozenski; nieces, Karen (Paul) Dunford and Kathy Lozenski and their families and many other relatives. Winnie was best known for her cooking, enjoyed by her family and friends and by her many acquaintenances at "Winnies Coffee Cup" in The Princess, Pandora, Central Hotels and the Transcona Golf Course. Some of her happiest days were spent with her friends at Columbus Villa, where she lived and was actively involved in many of their social functions. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held at Columbus Villa, 680 Kildare Ave. East on June 10, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at a later date, in Kenora, alongside her husband Carl. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to The Burn Unit at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg. Mom is the newest member in the Choir of Angels.
