Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAROLINA CHRISTENSEN (Last of the Kriewals) OCTOBER 14, 1905- MAY 31, 2000 Predeceased by her husband Ole, September 1986, Carol peacefully and with dignity left us to join Dad and her Lord. She leaves her sons, Don (Syl) and Ron (Linda) grandchildren, Kim (Barry) Gembey, Lonnie, Jason (Andrea) and Troy (good friend Rachel) and great-grandson Scott Gembey; step-brother Willie Driebach; step-sisters, Anna Driebach and Lydia Buchholtz. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was born in Sady, Poland, immigrating to Winnipeg on August 5, 1929 where she eventually married and raised a family. She took joy in her family and was very loving and proud of her grandchildren and especially proud being presented with her great-grandson. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Kim, Lonnie, Jason and Troy; Barry Gembey and George Sanderson. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Pastor Barber officiating. Our thanks to the nursing staff on the 5th floor at Victoria General Hospital. Special thanks to Elsie. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7. Mom and Gramma, we Love you and will miss you.
