A LA DOUCE MEMOIRE DE GERTRUDE MARIE JOSEPHINE LESSARD (nee LAMBERT) 1930-2000 Apres une courageuse lutte contre la maladie, Gertrude est decedee a lage de 70 ans a lhopital Saint-Boniface lieu meme de sa naissance. Sa famille et ses amis se souviendront roujours delle a cause de son sens de lhumour, son accueil, sa generosite, sa tenacite et son entregent. Elle laisse dans le dueil son fils Gerard (Lorraine), ses filles Jacqueline (Bryan) et Jo-Anne (Marc), qui ont se bien pris soin delle durant sa maladie, ses petits-enfants: Corey, Michelle, Jordan, Tyler, Jenna Dee and Kylan, son frere Fernand, ses souers Ann et Grace ainsi quune grand famille du cote Lambert et du cote Lessard. Gertie va aussi manquer beaucoup a ses nombreux amis. IN LOVING MEMORY OF GERTRUDE MARIE JOSEPHINE LESSARD (nee LAMBERT) 1930-2000 After a courageous battle with her illness, Gertude passed away at 70 years of age at her birth Hospital: Saint-Boniface. Family and friends will always remember her smile, her sense of humour, her warmth and gentleness, her generosity of spirit, her feisty nature, her tenacity and her love of people. She leaves to mourn her son Gerald (Lorraine), her daughters Jacqueline (Bryan) and Jo-Anne (Marc), who lovingly soothed her pain, her beloved grandchildren; Corey, Michelle, Jordan, Tyler, Jenna Dee, and Kylan, her brother Fernand, her sisters Ann and Grace as well as large Lambert and Lessard families. Gertie will be especially missed by her numerous friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Imperial Vets, 280 St. Marys Ave. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, the family would appreciate if you would make a blood donation.
