MARIA DI RADO (nee PICCIRILLI) Peacefully, on June 2, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Maria Di Rado passed away at the age of 96 years. She will be missed by her children; son Alberto De Rado (Ruth) daughter Rosaria Melizza (Domenico), of Victoria B.C; daughter Santa Maria Melizza; son Alberto Di Rado (Rosa) daughter-in-law Maria Di Rado of Italy and many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Maria was predeceased by her husband Domenico; brothers, Rafaele, Luca and Giovanni; sons, Nicola, Mario and Tomasso; son-in-law Nicola Melizza and nephew Tony Di Lallo. She came to Winnipeg in 1955 to join her husband and family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, taking pride in her flourishing gardens, giving her the essential ingredients for her favorite culinary delights. Prayer Vigil will be held Tuesday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 7, at 12:00 noon also at Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Pallbearers will be Fernando Melizza, Alberto De Rado, Annette Di Rado-Raposo, Sandra Di Rado, Cynthia Cowdy and Jose Raposo. Entombment will follow at Assumption Chapel Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. Nona, you will remain forever in our hearts. May God grant you eternal peace. P. COUTU & CO.
