Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHILLIP STARKELL On Saturday, June 3, 2000, Phillip Starkell, age 82 years, passed away in his sleep at the Riverview Health Centre. Phillip was the youngest of the immediate Starkell family. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and George; sisters, Katie, Mary and Anna; brothers, Henry, Conrad, Bill, George and Fred and twin grandsons, Luke and Mathew. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Clara; daughters, Lynne, Lori (Rob) and Diane of Burnaby, B.C.; grandchildren, Justin, Tiffany, Megan, Braden, Darlene, Patricia and Ricky; great-grandson, Matthew; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Phillip attended Centennial School in his youth. He served with the R.C.A.S.C. during World War II. Phil loved the game of golf and when he was 27 he won the Municipal tournament. In later years he enjoyed planting and watching his garden grow. Sincere gratitude goes out to Dr. J. Nepon, Dr. S. Wong for years of care and also to all the staff on 3E at Riverview. Special thanks to Roman for his kindness and support. Flowers gratefully declined, if so desired donations may be made to a charity of your choice. At. Phillips request cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
