Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS KIZUIK It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Thomas (Tom) Kizuik on Friday, June 2, 2000 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Tom leaves to mourn his loving wife Muriel (nee McDonald), his son Brian (Claudette) his daughters Brenda and Karen (Dale) his grandchildren Christopher, Justin and Shane whom he cherished very much; also his sisters Mildred (Lorne), Frances (Roy), his brothers Gordon (Barbara) and Bill (Norma), sister-in-law Lillian, mother-in-law Julie, sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Victoria, his brother George and his grandson Jeremy. Tom was born on September 12, 1929 in Selkirk and raised in Netley Manitoba. He worked for E.J. Dixon Heating Company all of his life. He enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, going out to the cabin and watching curling. He actively participated in his grandsons sports such as hockey, lacrosse and bowling. Tom was a very devoted husband and father and was very proud of his family. He looked forward to preparing and cooking for family gatherings. He was an extremely hard worker and was always there to lend a helping hand. He shared many stories of his life that filled our lives with joy and laughter. Tom touched the hearts of all who knew him and will be forever loved and sadly missed. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, at 2:00 p.m. in Gilbarts Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba. Viewing will take place at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Clandeboye United Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Larry Taylor, Ed MacLeod, Brent Kizuik, Jeff Kizuik, Derek Kizuik and Albert Roy. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-353 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 3J9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
