GRACE McKEEVER (nee AXFORD) Peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2000, Grace passed away at the Extendicare Oakview Place at the age of 76 years. Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband George; son George (Janice) of Ottawa and their children, Jocelyn and Lva; daughter Grace Jean of Toronto; sister Merle Johnston of Waverly, Nova Scotia; brother Barry (Sarah) Axford of Mission, Texas as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Grace was very active with (her church) Silver Heights United and very involved with her group Unit 4, Chapter 25. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed the time she spent traveling with her husband George across Canada and their trips to Hawaii and Great Britain. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch St. There will be a reception following the service in the Upper Hall. Following the reception interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Avenue, R3C 0S6.
