GERTRUDE ROSE VOSPER (nee FIDLER) April 6, 1943 to June 6, 2000 With courage and dignity, our wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and wife of Mr. Glen Vosper and daughter-in-law of Margaret Vosper, passed away quietly after a lengthy illness. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Laurie, Alaine and Corey, Roger and Debbie, Desiree and Bill, Victor and Barbra, Dale and Sharon, Sherry and Wayne, Valerie and Dell; her grandchildren, Mason, Todd, Kaela, Dustin, Marie, Beverly, Devon, Tiffany, Amanda, William, Isabeau, Amanda, Paul; and her great-grandson William. She also leaves behind her loving brothers and sister, Percy and Irene Fidler, Howard Ruskevich, Elsie and Wilfred Olson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her mother Evelyn Ruskevich and brother Robert Fidler. Rose was born and raised in Portage La Prairie. Mom may be gone but her spirit lives on. She loved and lived life the way it was dealt to her. Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at ANAF No. 283, 3584 Portage Ave. The family wishes to thank the Grace Hospital for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roses memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
