JEAN EVERETT Peacefully on June 4, 2000 our loving and beloved wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord at the age of 85. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Harry; daughters, Edith Danna of Burlington, Ont., Sylvia (Victor) Caux of Yorkton, Sask. and Anne McKay of Winnipeg; 12 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. Born in Winnipeg, Jean was employed at Eatons. She was a long time member of Knox United Church, member of the U.C.W and was a former choir member at the Church. Jean was also letter writer for the church welcoming committee. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest joys in life were her family, music and flowers. Viewing for Jean will be held Wednesday, June 7 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Memorial service will be held Thursday, June 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Knox United Church, 400 Edmonton Street. Reception to follow at the Church. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the DuVal Foundation, Knox United Church, 400 Edmonton Street, R3B2M2.
