ROBERT ALLAN VALENTINE
Date of Passing: Jun 04, 2000
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT ALLAN VALENTINE Bob, beloved husband of Deanna of 43 years, passed away suddenly at his home on June 4, 2000. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his son Greg (Rhonda) daughter Kathy (Roddy) granddaughters, Jessica, Danielle, Hailey; grandsons Tyler and Ryan and beloved mother-in-law Edith Taylor. Left to cherish his memory is his brother Jack (Jean) nieces Susan and Tricia; nephews, Reid (Sheila) and John (Wendy) as well as several special cousins. An electrician by trade he worked for Royal Electric, Kostick Electric, Reliable Electric, L.P. Williams & Associates and many years with Seven Oaks School Division from which he retired on April 30, 1999. Over the years, Bob tried archery (sore shoulder), fishing (not too successful) and wine making (which seemed to be his calling). Bob touched many peoples lives. If he made you happier, spoke a kind word, lent an ear, gave a pat on the back, shared laughter, love or a bottle of wine, please pass these things along to others and his time on earth will have been well spent. Though his expectations were not to be, we express our thanks to Dr. Graham Fuchs and all the caring medical staff over the past few years at the Selkirk Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and Health Sciences Centre. We sincerely say thank you to the Springfield Ambulance staff, concerned Oakbank R.C.M.P., the calm and dedication of 911, kindness shown at Beausejour Hospital and "the above and the beyond" help and caring of Bob and Connie Taylor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Friday, June 9, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. You always did your best, your heart was true and tender, you lived your life for those you loved and those you loved will remember.
