Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE PATRICK (nee MASTALER) January 15, 1912- June 5, 2000 With sadness and thanksgiving, on June 5, 2000 our dear Mom and Nana, with family at her side, passed away peacefully to be with her Saviour. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander in 1996. She leaves to mourn her children, Don (Flo) of Edmonton, Jim (Ruby), Patricia and Jean; grandchildren, Wendy (John), Martin, Lisa (Marvin), Kevin and David; great-grandchildren, Vance, Tess and Lane. Mom and Dad were married in 1932 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church where she remained an active member for all her healthy life. Moms first concern was for her children for whom she made many sacrifices. Her strong faith in her loving Lord carried her through many difficulties. She was a wonderful cook, caregiver and homemaker who also worked for ten years in the CNR Laundry at The Fort Garry Hotel until her retirement in 1977. She was a generous, caring person who always worried about others. Her baking, preserves and afghans brought enjoyment to many. Her last five years were spent at Tache Nursing Center where she continued to display her pleasant disposition. The family would like to thank the staff at Tache Nursing Centre for their kindness and loving support. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 10 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing one-half hour prior to the service, with interment following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 3Y1. Mom, you were our strength, and we will miss you dearly.
