Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY TRAVERSE Peacefully with his family at his side, Harry Traverse of Lake St. Martin, MB, on June 6, 2000, went home to be with the Lord, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 77 years. Harry is lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Jessie; and their children, Christine (Ron), Gertie (Russell), Priscilla, Lorna (Clifford), Elaine (Albert), George (Loretta), Colin, Oliver, Cheryl (Adrian), Karen (Ernest), Greg (Ruby) sisters, Bertha, Evangeline, Edith; brothers, Mark, Jacob (Christine) sisters-in-law, Flora, Jane; aunties Harriet and Ida; special nephew Edgar (Beatrice) Traverse, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Emma Jane; sons, Leonard and Calvin; daughters, Norma and Leanne; three brothers; three brothers-in-law; two sisters and two sisters-in-law. Harry was born on December 19, 1922, and was raised in Lake St. Martin. Harry loved working outdoors, farming and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be missed by his family and forever remembered. Special thanks to Linda and Nadine and the staff of the Selkirk Mental Health Centre for their loving care of our dad. Dads last scripture was - Psalm 23. A wake service will be held on Friday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 12:00 p.m. Both services will be at the Lake St. Martin Pentecostal Church in Lake St. Martin, MB, with Pastor Wilfred Bruce and Jim Anderson officiating.
