JOHN "HANS" REMPEL Peacefully at his home in Winnipeg, with his wife by his side, John completed his journey here on earth to be with his Lord, on Tuesday, June 6, 2000 at the age of 83 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Anny; his children, John (Judy), Ozzie (Joanne), Karin (Art) Pauls and Ursula (Peter) Krahn; and his 11 grandchildren. John is also survived by his sister Anna (Henry) Hildebrandt, and sisters-in-law, Gretel Rempel and Susan Rempel. He was predeceased by his brothers, Abram and Peter. Funeral services will be held at the North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch St., Winnipeg, on Friday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. M. Albert Durksen officiating. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith and Life Communications, 200-600 Shaftesbury Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3P 0M4.
