JACKY PANDEY (nee SCHALLA) Passed away peacefully with her family at her side Wednesday, June 7, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital. Jacky will be sadly missed by her loving husband Raj; children, Sunita, Vinita and Suneil and father-in-law Gopal. Jacky was a kind, generous woman with a big heart and a great capacity to love. Her family included not only her blood relations, but also all the people whom she adopted into her family over the years. Her driving force in life was love and happiness. She gave love and joy in abundance to all. She was predeceased by her father and mother, John and Lily Schalla; her mother-in-law Shanti Pandey; her sister and brother-in-law Alice and Erwin Meyers. She will also be missed by her brothers Wilbert (Evelyn), Gordon (Ann) and Clifford (Ann) Schalla of Steinbach; her sisters, Sylvia (Peter) Remple of Mitchell, Beverly Schalla of Beausejour, and Janet (Abe) Harder of Sarto; her brothers-in-law, Raju (Neena) and Billu (Neelum) Pandey of Vancouver; sister-in-laws, Madhu (Vijay) Pandey and Shashi (Arun) Tripathi of India; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Viewing will be held 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11 in the chapel of Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Royal Canadian Mint). A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 12 in the chapel of Glen Lawn Funeral Home. Interment Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
