Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySALLY GOUGH Peacefully on June 6, 2000, our mother and grandmother passed away, with family at her side. Born on January 22, 1918 in Winnipeg, she was one of seven children born to John and Isobella Merriman. Sally married Haydn Gough (Red) on November 22, 1943. She raised her children, enjoyed baking and sewing, and long car rides with Red. They travelled together and enjoyed their retirement until Red passed away in 1996. Her last years were difficult for her. She suffered memory loss and dementia, but had wonderful care, first at Lions Manor and this last year at Golden West Centennial Lodge. She is survived by her daughter Gayle Stewart of Edmonton; daughter and son-in-law Audrey and Jim Fardoe; son Bryan of Calgary; grandsons, Daniel and David Fardoe and Michael and Christopher Stewart. Also nieces and nephews and other relatives in Canada, the United States and Scotland. She was predeceased by her husband Red and all of her siblings, most recently her sister Cathy Ferris. Memorial Services will be held in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, on Saturday, June 10 at 1:00 p.m. with Major Daphne Maye officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Sallys memory to the Salvation Army Golden West Centennial Lodge, 811 School Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2Y 0S8 or Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4G2. Our family would like to thank the staff of Golden West Centennial Lodge for their compassion and understanding that allowed Mom to live her last year with dignity, understanding, kindness and love. God Bless You All! THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
