TSUJI MIZUNO (nee YASUE) Tsuji Mizuno passed away peacefully at the Grace General Hospital on June 7, 2000. She was born on July 9, 1906 at Shirakawa, Gifu Ken, Japan. She was predeceased by her husband Shintaro on May 4, 1963. Arriving in Canada in 1932, she resided in Ocean Falls, B.C., later moved to Manitoba in 1947 and then to Hamilton, Ont in 1969. The last seven years were spent in Momiji Senior Centre, Scarborough, Ontario. Tsuji is survived by her children, James (Molly), Jack (Judy), Aiko (Campbell) Furuya, Roy (Sue), Tom (Lucille), George(Maureen) grandchildren, Wendy (Steve) Stanton, Glenn (Darlene), Sam, Darlene (Jack), Courtney, Ted, Gary, Val (Todd) Studler, Sharon, Paul, Pamela and Geoffrey; great-grandchildren, Haley, Shea and Samantha. Her life was devoted to family, church and taking care of her home, all of which meant everything to her. She enjoyed the time spent traveling with Aiko, Campbell and Ted to various places in Canada and the U.S. In her later years, she spent many happy times with her friends in Hamilton and Toronto. Mom will be greatly missed by her family. The family would like to thank Dr. Haiart and Dr. Graham and the staff at Grace Hospital, especially 4 South; to the staff of 3 East, Deer Lodge Centre; and a special thank you to the staff of 3 East Oakview Place for all their kindness and care given to our mother. Flowers are gratefully declined. Private family service will be held at a later date. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
