INGRID MARGARET SUSSMANN (KUPRIES) Suddenly on Saturday, June 3, 2000, Ingrid Margaret Sussmann (Kupries) age 58 years, passed away to be with the Lord. Ingrid was born on July 18, 1941 in Germany. She came to Canada in 1956. She worked at Park Manor Care Home in Winnipeg as a Health Care Aide for many years taking early retirement in 1988. She then moved to Arden where she began a whole new meaning of life with John. Ingrid was predeceased by an infant daughter, Irene; her father Max; and her loving husband John. She leaves to mourn her mother Anne Sackmann of Winnipeg. She also leaves her children, Martin Sussmann, Darlene and husband Perry Cox, Dianne and husband John Dubrovskis of Winnipeg, and Sigrid and husband Tim Thorsteinson of Calgary, also stepchildren, Linda Neil and friend Jerry, Robert Unger and wife Debbie of Regina, and Don Unger of Arden, and a very special companion Isaac Braun. She also leaves six grandchildren, Ralph and Melody Klos of Winnipeg, David and Crystal Thorsteinson of Calgary, Tammy and Perry Virag of Regina, and Angela and Conal Archer of Bassano. She also leaves three sisters, Gisela and husband Reiner Bergob of Germany, Gabriele and husband Gary Wagner of Gibbons, AB, Christina and husband Tom Loshew of Brace Bridge, ON. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and very close friends. Ingrids greatest enjoyments were her pets, camping, gardening and having visits with her close friends. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8 in Arden United Church, Arden, MB with Rev. Joe Ball officiating. Interment in Arden Cemetery beside her late husband John. In lieu of flowers friends who so desire may make donations to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation. Whites Funeral Home Neepawa in care of arrangements.
