LENA BANNATYNE After a brief illness, Lena Bannatyne, age 91 years, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2000 at the Deer Lodge Centre. Lena was a resident of the Charleswood area for 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband Morice on March 12, 1983; two daughters in infancy, Bernice and Valdea; granddaughter Jamie; three brothers, Cec, Tom and Amby; two sisters, Ann Bannatyne and Gertrude Ceicko. Lena leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jim (Grant and Crysta, Cliff and Jackie, Scott and Jackie, and Gail) Bob, wife Gerry (Bob and Patsy, Kim, Garth and Claudia, Lisa and Shane) Herb, wife Diane (Lori-Ann, Gilbert, Heather, Kevin and Teresa) Donna McLeod, husband Brian (Judy and Ron, Janice and Greg, and Neil) Sheila Dawson, husband Cliff of Springstein; Bruce, wife Mary Lynn (Debbie and John, Joanne and Brian, and Tammy) Grant, wife Joyce of Kelowna (Todd and Maureen, Trevor, Ginger and Will) Ross, wife Carol (Jason) Nancy Cole, husband Rick (Ryan and Jody) 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kath Martin, husband Bert, Dorothy Jones, husband Ivor; numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff of 3E Deer Lodge Centre for all their care and support.
