Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET MERTENS TETTERO SUNDLAND Margaret died suddenly in Fort Collins, Colorado on May 15, 2000. She is very much missed by her family - in Winnipeg, Fort Collins, Holland and Australia. Margaret was born in Breda, Holland on May 9, 1933, lived in Holland with her family during the Second World War and the occupation. She married John Tettero in 1954 and immigrated to Canada, eventually settling in Winnipeg and having two daughters, Mila and Marcella. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts, honours and was awarded the Gold Medal of Excellence in 1973 from the U of M. She went on to get her Masters of Fine Arts in North Dakota in 1978, where she met and married Donald Sundland. Their life together eventually brought them to Fort Collins, CO. Margaret was an accomplished artist and teacher, she received many awards and has sold her work to private collections in many countries. A service was held at the Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins on Saturday, May 20. A celebration of her life followed at Margaret and Dons home with family and friends.
